As a Student Assistant in our CAPU, you will be part of a team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and families. **Job Summary** We are seeking five Student Assistants to join our CAPU team on a part-time, temporary basis. As a Student Assistant, you will work directly with our Supervising Program Technician II and CAPU Manager to provide exceptional customer service, process applications, and troubleshoot technical issues. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced call center environment, develop your communication and problem-solving skills, and contribute to the success of our organization. **Responsibilities** As a Student Assistant in our CAPU, your key responsibilities will include: * Providing accurate, prompt, and courteous customer service to students, parents, and the general public via phone, email, and in-person interactions * Processing applications, updating customer records, and performing general customer account maintenance * Troubleshooting technical registration issues for WebGrants4Students, including error messages and browser/display issues * Handling sensitive calls from customers, including distressed and upset customers, in a professional manner * Escalating complex calls and issues to analysts or supervisors for resolution * Reviewing and processing semi-technical supplemental program forms * Corresponding with customers via email and taking appropriate action(s) in response to written correspondence * Working in a team environment to identify and implement process improvements * Tracking and logging student forms, as well as gathering telephone statistics for the program **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess: * Ability to work in a call center environment where electronic records must be accessed and updated quickly and accurately * Ability to demonstrate patience, tact, flexibility, and good organizational skills * Ability to learn operational knowledge of program applications and computer systems * Ability to learn the technical aspects of the program for completion of daily assignments * Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication * Ability to work in a remote environment, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace **Preferred Qualifications** * Ability to speak and write Spanish * Experience working in a call center or customer service environment * Familiarity with program applications and computer systems * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Working Conditions** As a Student Assistant in our CAPU, you will work in a remote environment, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace. You will be required to work according to the current arenaflex remote workplace policy and sign a arenaflex Work from Home Agreement. **Physical Requirements** To perform the duties of this role, you will need to be able to: * Sit for extended periods * Frequently stand and walk * Use manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination * Have corrected hearing and vision to normal range * Use verbal communication * Use office equipment, including computer workstations, telephones, calculators, copiers, printers, and scanners **Application Instructions** To apply for this role, please complete all fields of the employment application, including your educational history and employment experience.
