Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our finance team at blithequark. As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a critical role in analyzing and determining the accounting treatment for new revenue arrangements and products, collaborating cross-functionally, and assuming a key part in developing and maintaining scalable revenue recognition processes. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and provide monthly close projections
• Prepare monthly motion analysis for management review
• Prepare audit support for external and internal audits
• Drive process improvements to streamline revenue processes and shorten close timelines
• Review the accounting treatment for new revenue arrangements and products
• Support the integration of new revenue streams into our existing cycles
• Support system implementations and test system changes related to revenue processes
• Identify opportunities, assist with developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures, and implement internal control systems (SOX) in areas of responsibility
• Establish strong relationships and work cross-functionally across the organization
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reporting on a case-by-case basis

Essential Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in the advertising technology/media industry; ideally, a public/private industry mix
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply ASC 606 required
• Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact collaboratively at all levels of the organization
• Proactive, independent individual with the ability to multitask and think creatively
