**The Job**
As a Revenue Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting the daily Revenue Control departmental functions, handling event order closing processes, and ensuring that all revenue is accounted for accurately. You'll also be responsible for validating appropriate service fee and gratuities distribution related functions, supporting the revenue entry and closing event orders in sales/catering system and event checks in Infogenesis (POS system), and processing service fees and gratuities in the service fee and gratuities distribution system.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support the daily Revenue Control departmental functions, including event order closing processes
* Ensure all revenue is accounted for accurately and validate appropriate service fee and gratuities distribution related functions
* Support the revenue entry and closing event orders in sales/catering system and event checks in Infogenesis (POS system)
* Process service fees and gratuities in the service fee and gratuities distribution system
* Assist with various external departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue and distribution of service fees and gratuities
* Monitor, investigate, resolve and document over/short event order and service fee and gratuity variances
* Review/audit event order paperwork; distribution of service fee and gratuity reports; notify management of anomalies and prevalent issues
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* High school diploma or GED
* 1+ year prior experience in Hotel and/or Catering and Banquet, or related experience
* Previous cashiering or cash handling experience is preferred
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
