Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
- Managing customer accounts, providing technical support, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Entering application data, responding to online chat inquiries, and interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
- Demonstrating creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability to changing projects and updates
- Effectively managing time and tasks, prioritizing multiple tasks, and maintaining a high level of productivity
- Completing extensive self-study, training, and testing, and adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be at least 18 years of age or older
- A minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, a dedicated, private, and secure workspace, and a personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period
- To commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period and complete a background check and health screening
- Cable/Fiber Broadband Internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible with our internal systems)
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, a high level of comfort learning new technology, and a high level of professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfort working from home, and self-motivation and success-driven attitude
Preferred Experience
While not required, the following experience is preferred:
- Previous experience in customer support or technical support role
- Previous experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
- Previous experience in a Call Center
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Spanish Bilingual, a plus

Compensation Details
We offer a competitive hourly rate, with the following compensation details:
- Base Pay: $14.50 per hour
- Enhanced Rate: $16.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance
- Spanish Bilingual Base Pay: $15.50 per hour
- Spanish Bilingual Enhanced Rate: $17.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance
