As a Photographer for ShowingTime+, you'll have the opportunity to work at the forefront of real estate media innovation, capturing high-quality photos, videos, drone imagery, and 3D interactive floor plans that help real estate agents professionally market listings.
About the Role
This is a part-time position, typically requiring 20 hours of work per week, with occasional opportunities to work more during periods of high demand. While this is a part-time role, there may be opportunities for full-time employment in the future. As a Photographer supporting ShowingTime+ and our Listing Media Services, you'll be responsible for:
- Capturing industry-leading, professional still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360° virtual tours, drone photography & videos, and social media videos for for-sale or for-rent properties
- Utilizing advanced photography techniques and equipment to showcase the unique features and aesthetics of each property
- Coordinating and interacting with clients on site to understand their specific photography needs and expectations
- Providing guidance and direction to clients and property owners during photography sessions to achieve desired results and maximize the visual impact of images
- Using cutting-edge proprietary technology to create captivating rich media experiences
- Ensuring that all photographs adhere to brand guidelines and represent properties accurately and attractively
- Managing and maintaining photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and accessories, to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Organizing and uploading captured media for post-processing, meeting all deadlines and appointment punctuality, and adhering to availability guidelines
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in real estate photography to continually improve skills and techniques
- Developing creative concepts and ideas for photography to effectively showcase the unique selling points of each property
- Collaborating with other team members and external partners to deliver cohesive visual assets for marketing campaigns and promotional materials
- Adapting to future media, product, service, capture or processing changes
- Representing ShowingTime+ in a professional manner
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience capturing high-quality photography, preferably exterior and interior real estate photos, real estate videos, 3D tours, and drone media
- Deep understanding of photography fundamentals using DSLR/Mirrorless systems
- The ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Part 107 drone license and operate a drone in a safe manner in accordance with FAA regulations
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to drive longer distances, covering an area with a 60+ mile radius
- Access to reliable internet upload speeds for daily uploads
- A professional full frame or crop sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera with the ability to shoot 5 bracket, Auto Exposure Bracketing 'AEB'
- Wide-angle lens (ex: Full Frame - 15-35mm, Crop Sensor - 10-22mm)
- Tripod and Adjustable Tripod Head
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience will be a plus:
- Experience working in the real estate industry
- Knowledge of real estate marketing and the importance of high-quality visual media
- Excellent customer service and professional business communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with proprietary technology and software used in real estate photography
