Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Services Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Professional Services Representative, you will play a critical role in recruiting and retaining participating dentists for our various programs, ensuring the success of our dental networks, and fostering strong relationships with the dental community.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and retain dentists in Delta Dental networks, maintaining accurate records of all interactions in Salesforce.
- Conduct visits to participating and non-participating dentists to resolve claims processing issues, ensure understanding of our programs and procedures, and gather competitor information.
- Analyze data and system reports to inform recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent Delta Dental at regional and national dental meetings, trade shows, student clinics, and community functions to build relationships and promote our services.
- Develop and deliver presentations to dental offices, schools, and community organizations to educate them about our programs and foster partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on our products and services, communicating changes and new developments to the dental community and promoting participation in our programs.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An associate's degree in public relations, communications, dental assisting, or dental hygiene, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of related work experience in customer service, sales, or recruiting, with a strong preference for experience in the dental industry.
- Advanced knowledge of claims adjudication, dental terminology, dental procedures, and dental insurance products.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex problems and work independently.
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software, with experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
