You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and service, while adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. **Key Responsibilities** * **Customer Experience** + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * **Operations** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Assist customers in locating products and take them to the OTC aisle when possible. * **Pharmacy Operations** + Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow. + Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly. + Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs. + Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions. + Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures. + Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist. * **Inventory Management** + Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals. + Maintain knowledge of company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs. * **Store Maintenance** + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Complete resets and revisions as directed. + Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. * **Additional Responsibilities** + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Assume web pick-up responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers). + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) or state required certification/registration preferred. * 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment, with a focus on customer service and pharmacy operations. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. * Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a cash register. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with pharmacy systems and software. * Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including prescription processing and inventory management. * Certification in pharmacy technician (PTCB) or state required certification/registration. * Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a focus on team development and customer service. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a cash register. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to the development and growth of our employees.
