**Job Summary**
As a Part-Time Remote Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a high-production environment. Your primary duties will include:
* Routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
* Making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
* Maintaining excellent customer service while multitasking between patient referrals
* Demonstrating high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional patient care and support in a high-production environment
* Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
* Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
* Demonstrate a commitment to quality and patient safety
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
* Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
* High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Specialty pharmacy experience
* Call center experience
* Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
