**Job Summary**
We are seeking a numbers/data/excel savvy candidate to join our team as a full-time Project Associate. This is a hybrid position with a mix of remote and in-office work, with 2/3 days on and off. As a Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support, you will be responsible for supporting our Revenue Recovery Department in various tasks, including data entry, report creation, and information gathering. **Key Responsibilities**
* Project associate related duties, including:
+ Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems
+ Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits
+ Extracting/entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems
+ Making phone calls to Post Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients
+ Running and creating reports
+ Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team
+ Scanning and indexing of documents
* Collaborate with the Revenue Recovery team to ensure the success of our clients
* Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
* Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external stakeholders
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or data entry role
* Excellent data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Hospital patient accounting systems
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
