Job Overview: Lead SRE/DevOps Engineer
We are seeking an exceptional Lead SRE/DevOps Engineer to join our Concentrix Catalyst team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in steering the team's technical direction and mentoring junior resources, despite not having direct reports. Your expertise in cloud computing, particularly with Azure, and application security will be invaluable in this setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the adoption of best practices in Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cloud computing, application security, and DevOps practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS platforms.
- Develop and manage release and build pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins, ensuring seamless continuous integration and deployment.
- Utilize infrastructure automation and container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform Templates, and Helm to optimize resource utilization and application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging your debugging skills and knowledge of computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions like Datadog, ELK, and Prometheus to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with modern cloud development practices, including microservices architectures and REST interfaces, to drive innovation and excellence in our solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on technical expertise and leadership.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud computing, application security, and infrastructure management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, release and build pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- A strong understanding of availability regions, networking concepts, and computer architecture.
- Excellent debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Deep knowledge of servers, networking, and cloud infrastructure, with experience in maintaining AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Gitlab CI, Argo workflow, and Argo CD.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
