Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain hotel rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment in guest rooms and public areas
- Vacuum and mop floors, and clean carpets and upholstered furniture as needed
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and uniforms
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of quality
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Essential Qualifications:
- No prior experience is required; we offer comprehensive training to the right candidate
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry operations
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
