Key Responsibilities
As a Project Associate at Blithequark, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include:
- Medical Record Retrieval: Access and retrieve patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Itemized Bill Preparation: Generate and prepare patient itemized bills in the appropriate formats for internal and external audits, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Data Extraction and Entry: Extract and enter necessary information from and to hospital patient accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Communication with Healthcare Facilities: Make phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain necessary patient information, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reporting and Analysis: Run and create reports as needed, providing valuable insights to support the recovery team.
- Information Gathering and Data Entry: Assist with any other information gathering or data entry tasks as required by the recovery team, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
- Document Management: Scan and index documents efficiently, maintaining organized and easily accessible records.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed as a Project Associate at Blithequark, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health information management, business administration) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with electronic health records (EHRs) or hospital patient accounting systems.
- Analytical and Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
