**Job Summary**
As an Online Chat Text Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the overall functioning of our 988 Crisis Chat Program, including individual supervision of all Crisis Chat Counselors. You'll work closely with our team to provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and resources to individuals in crisis, while also ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our services.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide supervision and support to Crisis Chat Counselors, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to provide high-quality care to clients.
* Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of care.
* Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our Crisis Chat Counselors.
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our clients.
* Provide crisis intervention and support services to individuals in crisis, including risk assessment, safety planning, and follow-up.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local and statewide community resources to ensure that our clients have access to the support they need.
* Conduct weekly individual supervision sessions with Crisis Chat Counselors to provide feedback and guidance.
* Complete weekly quality assurance reports with Crisis Chat Counselors to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of care.
* Participate in supervision, in-service training, and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
* Maintain good working relationships with co-workers and positively contribute to group morale.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
* 1 year of experience in mental health services, preferably in crisis intervention services, suicide prevention, and intervention.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
* Ability to function successfully in an environment requiring immediate response to urgent situations.
* Knowledge of and familiarity with local and statewide community resources.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
* Computer skills with various software, including Microsoft Products.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
* Experience working in a crisis intervention or support services setting.
* Certification in crisis intervention or a related field.
* Bilingual or multilingual skills.
