About the Role
As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Customer Service Division by accurately and efficiently entering large amounts of data into our customer information system and other Public Works software. You will work independently with a high degree of speed and accuracy, exercising good judgment and personal initiative. Key Responsibilities
- Utility Account Management: Establish and maintain utility accounts, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date records.
- Account Verification: Verify account eligibility and accessibility, making sound judgments and decisions.
- Work Order Preparation: Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Customer Communications: Prepare files for mass customer communications, supporting our customer-centric approach.
- Billing and Notices: Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, ensuring customers receive essential information.
- Document Management: Scan or retain documents, maintaining organized and easily accessible records.
- Audits and Compliance: Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Data Tracking: Enter data into Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking databases, supporting our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to our team's success.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED).
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist.
- Skills Testing: Must pass computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration.

- Education: Associate's degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields.
