**How You'll Help Us**
• Drive the design and development of features and solutions related to data analysis, data transformation, data visualization, and data insights.
• Develop well-planned, testable, and efficient solutions using best software development practices.
• Plan, create, test, document, deploy, monitor, and support code.
• Participate in a scrum team, consistently delivering high-quality code and reports to production.
• Collaborate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Provide visibility over plans and status to other stakeholders (IT).
• Work closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Owners to define and support platforms and applications.
• Support, mentor, and train junior engineers.
**Capabilities and Requirements**
• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
• 4+ years' experience in developing testable code and reports.
• Experience with Business Intelligence Data Representation tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Scala, R.
• Knowledge of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools.
• Experience using CI/CD tools - GitHub, GoCD, Terraform, or Blue DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and design.
• Knowledge of developing applications using public cloud, ideally Azure, highly engaged in Data Services.
• Understanding of Agile Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps best practices.
• Strong understanding of Git-based version control.
• Strong understanding of product-oriented programming.
• Openness to one of the following languages: Java, NodeJS, C#.
• Experience working in a global, distributed team, with in-house and external delivery assets.
• Working on one Agile lifecycle management tool like Jira or Blue DevOps.
