**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our Cyber Security Data Science organization. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex data pipelines using Airflow, Python, and Spark. You will also be responsible for reviewing and examining complex software development tasks, making decisions in data engineering conditions, and collaborating with internal partners to solve volatile data engineering challenges.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead complex tasks with significant impact and act as a key player in large-scale software development plans for the Technology area
* Design, develop, and run tooling to identify issues in data and software and document the issues to engineering and product leadership
* Review and examine complex software development tasks for business, operational, or technical enhancements that require extensive assessment of multiple factors, including intangibles or extraordinary elements
* Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering conditions requiring knowledge of software package alternatives and programming language and compliance requirements that affect and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change
* Strategically collaborate and communicate with internal partners to resolve volatile data engineering challenges
**Required Qualifications**
* 3+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
* 2+ years of Programming language: Spark, Python, or PySpark
**Desired Qualifications**
* Strong knowledge of Information Security domains, including DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management
* Experience implementing and assisting complex Airflow DAGs
* Experience with various data formats, including YAML, JSON, Parquet, and XML
* Experience working directly with security datasets, metrics, and reporting
* On-premise Hadoop distributions (Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR) and public cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure) experience
* Strong knowledge of cluster technology and clustered services
