Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information, and resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications to maintain the integrity of our database.
- Following data program security practices and procedures at all times to ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Routinely securing information by completing database backups daily to prevent data loss.
- Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required to support the team.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations, demonstrating a commitment to ethical data handling practices.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
