About the Role
As a Data Center Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Google's advanced data center server and network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to and lead efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center infrastructure.
- Participate in or lead complex troubleshooting and resolve critical or escalated technical issues.
- Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs.
- Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-related issues on servers.
- Deploy and maintain Google's advanced Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware/ community problems using Linux tools.
- Knowledge of working inside a data center or network operations center environment.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing computer, server, and network hardware.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Experience with mild coding or scripting.
- Experience in project management and leadership.
- Experience with networking protocols.
- Ability to collaborate and associate with teams to overcome problems.

- A salary range of $77,000-$110,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
