Key Responsibilities
- Communication Support: Provide general administrative support, including answering member inquiries, troubleshooting, and managing member communications.
- Membership Management: Process membership applications, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data in our Salesforce CRM.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Collect data, track membership statistics, and prepare reports on key metrics.
- Member Communication: Assist with member communication activities, including calls, emails, and Zoom calls.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members and coordinate current member service programs.
- Event Support: Assist programming staff at onsite and virtual membership-related events, including supporting marketing and membership materials and fielding member inquiries.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the finance department to track membership revenue and update reports.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree with at least two years of related work experience in membership, preferably in association or nonprofit sectors.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and a solutions-based attitude.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with membership databases.
- Experience: Experience working cross-functionally in teams and handling multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cvent, Canva, Sprout Social, and Salesforce: Experience with these tools is highly preferred.
- Association or Nonprofit Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in association or nonprofit sectors.
