**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative in our Rehab Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and business operations support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Handling telephones and responding to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient check-in processes
* Verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and pre-certifications for patient services
* Managing referrals, posting charges, and initial collections for patient accounts
* Maintaining accurate and well-coded medical records
* Providing support for workers' compensation, commercial carriers, employee health, and corporate accounts (as needed)
**Requirements**
* **Educational Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
* **Experience Requirements:**
+ Less than 1 year of experience in a clerical/administrative role (Required)
+ Prior experience in insurance or customer service (Preferred)
* **Additional Requirements:**
+ 1-2 years of prior experience required for Lee Health Solutions
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required at some locations within 90 days of hire
