Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience in our store. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items, keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, and taking inventory and maintaining records.
- Implementing asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, completing resets and revisions as directed.
- Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures, and providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
- Assuming web pick-up responsibilities, monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, and complying with all company policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing efficient and friendly service to customers.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with some retail experience preferred.
