About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers daily and providing them with an exceptional shopping experience. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate the register, process transactions, and handle customer payments
- Make purchase suggestions and recommendations to customers
- Work with our food program to provide customers with a variety of options
- Maintain the store's appearance, including the sales floor, stockroom, and exterior
- Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Interact with customers daily, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Work collaboratively with the team to accomplish daily tasks and goals

Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to provide excellent customer care and respond to customer inquiries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a register
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong desire to learn and grow
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of sales principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and mutual support
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and respond to customer inquiries
- Motivation to advance in your career, with a strong desire to learn and grow
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with regular breaks to rest and recharge
- Lifting and/or carrying up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Pushing and/or pulling with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bending at the waist with some twisting, up to one hour a shift
- Grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills
