**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex, interacting with customers at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and gate areas. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and answering questions in a friendly, patient, and professional manner. You will work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations, meet customer needs, and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a friendly, patient, and professional manner.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations, meet customer needs, and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
* Handle customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage claims, and other related services.
* Operate an electronic ticketing system, manage boarding processes, and resolve related issues and complaints.
* Process payments, handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons, and balance daily transactions.
* Inspect baggage and freight, answer phone calls to provide information, page customers, resolve issues, and assist as needed.
* Manage oversold situations, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolve such issues promptly and in accordance with company policies.
* Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, reservations, and other travel-related information to customers and other stakeholders.
* Complete forms and reports as required by the company.
* Write incident and complaint reports as needed.
* Perform other work duties as assigned by supervisors.
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
* Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job.
* Ability to understand reports, follow instructions, learn and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and guidelines.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meet public expectations, and work under stressful circumstances.
* Ability to complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period.
* Familiarity with hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis.
* Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turnaround of aircraft.
* Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance, understanding the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Arrangement.
* Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space.
* Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to convey information and directions verbally or through radio equipment.
