**Position Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service and Support Representative to join our Supply Center team. As a critical role in our organization, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through superior communication, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide quotes, process orders, and schedule product deliveries. **Key Accountabilities**
As a Customer Service and Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Delivering exceptional customer service by responding to customer needs thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
* Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers
* Fielding and resolving customer issues and questions in a professional and courteous manner
* Performing inside sales duties as needed, including processing orders, scheduling deliveries, and communicating with customers
* Utilizing consultative selling skills to establish, develop, and service new customer accounts
* Providing quotes to customers and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Scheduling product deliveries and communicating with customers to ensure timely and successful delivery
* Ordering inventory for replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels
* Operating in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment
* Supporting the Supply Center Team in attaining overall goals and objectives of the business unit
* Accurately entering orders and maintaining accurate records
* Following and executing any additional direction given by the Branch Manager to assist in obtaining overall goals and objectives of the organization
* Performing other duties as necessary to support the team and achieve business objectives
**Essential and Preferred Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Ability to multi-task and make business decisions in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
* Composed under pressure with a results-driven attitude
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
* Effective time management and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills, including written, oral, and listening skills
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and systems
* College degree preferred, but not required
* 2+ years' experience in a retail/wholesale environment with a demonstrated success working with customers
* Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook experience
* General knowledge of the building industry preferred but not required
