About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Agent to join our team in Independence, IA. As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a vital role in building strong relationships with our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their challenges in a timely and professional manner. This is a full-time, remote/hybrid position that offers a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while also collaborating with our team at our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers by responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Work collaboratively with our Sales team members and other stakeholders to resolve customer inquiries and challenges
- Utilize our computer systems and software applications to manage customer accounts, process orders, and resolve issues
- Provide exceptional customer service experiences that meet or exceed our customers' expectations
- Stay up-to-date with our products, services, and policies to provide accurate and helpful information to our customers
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office and our proprietary software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of inbound phone calls and multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer challenges in a timely and professional manner
- Reliable internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 5 megabits per second, download speed of 15 megabits per second, and ping less than 80 milliseconds
- A secure and dedicated workspace at home, with minimal distractions and interruptions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid environment, with a proven track record of success
- Knowledge of our products and services, or similar products and services in our industry
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology applications
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
- Previous experience working in a call center or similar environment, with a strong understanding of call center metrics and performance standards
