Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Agent to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing legendary hospitality and support at the ticket counter, baggage service office, and gate area. Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Operate a computerized point-of-sale system to handle ticketing, check-in, boarding, baggage service, and reservations
• Handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets, computing charges, making change, and balancing daily transactions
• Check in baggage and cargo, answer telephone calls, and provide information to customers, resolving problems or complaints as needed
• Deal with mishandled customers as a result of oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged luggage, resolving issues quickly and within established guidelines
• Provide current and accurate fare, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general inquiries from customers and other visitors to the airport terminal
• Complete forms and reports as required, writing irregularity and complaint reports as necessary

Essential Qualifications

• Ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet demands of the job
• Able to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful situations
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete Customer Service Agent training program with an 80% or greater average and an evaluation period
• Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies as needed
• Must work under tight time constraints to accomplish quick turns of aircraft
• Presentation of a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Operations Employee Handbook and Labor Agreement

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an airport or travel-related environment
• Foreign language skills are desirable, but not required
• Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements
• May be required by Station Leadership to obtain a Customs Seal and meet all requirements to work international flights
