Key Responsibilities
- Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action to ensure customer safety and security.
- Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, following established protocols and procedures to ensure timely and effective response.
- Provide world-class customer service to customers in their time of need, offering empathy, support, and clear communication to alleviate concerns and resolve issues.
- Notify customers of non-emergency signals, providing timely and accurate information to minimize disruption and ensure customer awareness.
- Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring that key stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on the status of the situation.
- Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and concerns.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute, with strong keyboard skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset in this role:
- One year of customer service experience, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Spanish/English speakers, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups and provide language support as needed.
