Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Custom Circuits Design Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely and contributing to the design and development of advanced System-on-Chip (SOC) solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom digital circuits, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators, for advanced SOC applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including power, PD, and design engineers, to define specifications and requirements
• Perform circuit design, simulation, modeling, and verification, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines
• Work closely with the layout team to complete the design and oversee the layout quality, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
• Develop and drive circuit architectures to achieve the highest design quality metrics, leveraging your expertise in deep submicron device physics and technology interactions

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Proven experience in designing low voltage/low power custom circuits, with a strong understanding of device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/invertible circuits, super low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, digital on-chip sensors, high-speed timing, and time-to-digital converters (TDCs)
• Strong comprehension of device modeling, device noise sources (1/f, thermal), and external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high-precision circuits
• Ability to conduct experiments during silicon debug, manufacturing, and analyzing data, utilizing scripting languages (Python/Perl or others) and CAD automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a strong academic background and research experience
• Experience with industry-standard circuit design and simulation tools, including CAD software and scripting languages
• Knowledge of asynchronous message verification and social models for asynchronous message blocks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
