• Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter data into the system
• Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing
• Investigate missing prescription data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes)
• Resolve data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues
• Provide support to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary
• Obtain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active professional license or certification

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online
• Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, and completing forms online
• Intermediate level keyboarding skills, with a minimum of 25 words per minute (WPM) and the ability to type by memory
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment
• At least 1.5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state, as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
• Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills, with a minimum of 35 WPM and the ability to type by memory
• Fluency in Spanish and English
