**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Behavioral Health Customer Service Advocate, you will be responsible for:
* Taking back-to-back phone calls from members and providers, providing empathetic and compassionate support to ensure seamless access to care
* Triage and conduct intake for risk of harm and substance use concerns, utilizing your independent judgment to deliver accurate information and exceptional service
* Communicate eligibility, assist with scheduling appointments, and provide referrals, quotes, and authorization requirements to members and providers
* Collaborate with matrix partners and coordinate seamless handoffs to clinical teams for timely support
* Navigate multiple systems and applications across multiple screens while on calls, utilizing your strong time management and multitasking abilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues on the first call and ensuring a positive experience for our members and providers
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in another field plus 2+ years of behavioral health experience
* Customer service experience, with a strong focus on empathy and compassion
* Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications
* Proficiency with typing and PC usage, with the ability to remain at your workstation while handling calls from a phone queue
* A permanent 8-hour shift between the hours of 7am-7pm CST, with the option to work from home occasionally or permanently
**Training Schedule and Work Environment**
The training schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM CST. Once trained, you will work a permanent 8-hour shift between the hours of 7am-7pm CST. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
**Compensation and Benefits**
arenaflex Health Services offers a competitive hourly rate of $19-$29 per hour, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan. In addition to a comprehensive hourly rate, you will also enjoy a range of benefits, including:
