Job Description:
• Responsible for managing activities related to the facility’s environmental permits, programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Assesses compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and acts as an advisor to internal customers.
• Participates with management personnel in establishing procedures for administering regulatory compliance programs.
• Reviews analytical data and environmental performance metrics and summarizes and interprets results.
• Prepares permit applications and modifications.
• Conducts regular environmental inspections and supports and tracks corrective actions, if necessary.
• Prepares regulatory and permit required reporting.
• Conducts environmental compliance training.
• Performs other, related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of environmental regulations including hazardous waste, solid waste, water and air.
• Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and technical aptitude.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint applications.
