SUMMARY: AssistRx is enhancing its Strategic Operations team by adding a Director, Strategic Operations. This professional will work closely with senior leadership to execute key initiatives that drive company strategy, operational efficiency, and business growth across the organization. The Director will oversee cross-functional projects, conduct in-depth analyses, and optimize processes to maximize the effectiveness of our pharmaceutical manufacturer partnerships.
This role is suitable for a results-driven and analytical professional with a rich background in consulting, corporate strategy, or healthcare services. The Director will contribute to shaping AssistRx’s strategic priorities and fostering strong relationships across business units, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives related to growth, operational efficiency, and partnership performance.
- Analyze operational, clinical, and financial data to derive insights and drive actionable outcomes aligned with company goals.
- Develop business cases, financial forecasts, and performance reports to inform leadership decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align on objectives and ensure successful project execution.
- Drive high-priority initiatives identified by the Executive Leadership Team and support the overarching strategic direction of the organization.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for reviews by the Executive Leadership Team.
- Identify process inefficiencies, propose scalable solutions, and promote the adoption of business improvement strategies.
- Monitor the progress of initiatives, report on key milestones, and proactively address challenges that arise.
- Contribute to the identification and development of new business opportunities to optimize AssistRx's operational platform.
- Support departmental process documentation and continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May supervise junior analysts or project managers, depending on organizational structure.
- May lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5–7 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or operations within the healthcare or pharmaceutical services sectors.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects, driving results, and delivering under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data modeling, business case development, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to addressing challenges.
- Successful at managing multiple priorities and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in Pharma services or healthcare is strongly preferred.
