Customer Relationship Manager
£55,000 + Commission | Remote (UK) with Travel
Location: National Accounts
Ideal base: Leeds, York, Doncaster or surrounding areas
Travel required to Hull, Newcastle, Manchester & Lincoln
We’re looking for an experienced Customer Relationship Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of national accounts while actively developing new commercial opportunities across the region.
This is a pivotal, customer-facing role where you’ll build long-term relationships, grow service revenue, and identify new opportunities across service contracts, maintenance, small works, and projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams to deliver value for customers while driving profitable growth.
What you’ll be doing
Manage and develop key national accounts , building trusted, long-term relationships
Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within existing and target customers
Drive all service-related revenue across your customer base, including renewals, upsell and cross-sell
Take end-to-end ownership of service contracts , ensuring strong commercial and operational performance
Oversee service delivery across customer sites, including maintenance planning and coordination of technical support
Work closely with Finance, Service and Operations teams to improve contract profitability and engineer utilisation
Prepare and deliver quotations across service, maintenance, small works and project opportunities
Act as the primary interface between customers and internal teams to ensure a joined-up, high-quality experience
Promote the full portfolio of services and solutions to strengthen market presence and wallet share
What we’re looking for
3–5 years’ experience in account development, customer relationship management or key account management
Background within fire, security, building systems or a related technical services environment
Proven track record of growing accounts and winning new business
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Commercially minded with the confidence to spot, shape and close opportunities
Comfortable working remotely with regular regional travel
