Overview
We are seeking an experienced insurance defense litigator to serve as Of Counsel / Contract Litigator for a corporate law firm in Illinois.
What We Need:
• Someone comfortable with motion-heavy practice (2-615, 2-619, discovery motions, etc.)
• Experience fighting large or mid-size defense firms
• Ability to handle hearings in Cook, Lake, or DuPage
• Ability to follow a litigation roadmap
• Strong drafting skills for motions, responses, and discovery
• Someone who is responsive and efficient

Ideal Candidate:
• 10+ years of litigation experience
• Insurance defense, construction defect, or general liability background preferred
• Comfortable going against firms like Taft, Hinshaw, Dykema, Johnson & Bell, etc.
• Wants stable, predictable contract work
• Wants respect and straightforward clients
