Chief Operating Officer – Pharmaceuticals

Job Description: • Growth & Expansion: Lead aggressive expansion initiatives including multiple telehealth site launches, new pharmacy openings, and manufacturing facility construction oversight • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with investors, legal counsel, and industry collaborators • Strategic Leadership: Lead daily operations spanning multiple business entities including pharmacies, manufacturing locations, telehealth platforms, and R&D programs • Culture Leadership: Preserve and strengthen the positive, results-driven team culture while overseeing a varied workforce • Operational Excellence: Manage the integration and oversight of 30+ brands across various wellness sectors (peptide research, hormone replacement therapy, concierge medicine, etc.) • Revenue Growth: Accelerate revenue expansion within the initial 12-24 months through strategic initiatives and operational enhancements • Problem Solving: Tackle sophisticated, multi-dimensional challenges across manufacturing, pharmacy operations, technology systems, customer service, and sales functions • Board Collaboration: Interface directly with the CEO/Chairman and Board of Directors, functioning as the key bridge between executive operations and board oversight • Regulatory Navigation: Maintain compliance across 503B pharmacy operations, FDA requirements, and emerging peptide industry regulations Requirements: • Education: Bachelor's degree mandatory • High Energy & Work Ethic: Capacity to align with the pace of a high-growth organization (this is not a steady-state role) • Communication Skills: Superior ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage board relationships, and motivate teams • Positive Leadership Style: Demonstrated history of leading with optimism, solution-focus, and emotional intelligence • Growth Leadership: Validated experience scaling a company from $25M to $100M+ in revenue • Multi-Brand Experience: Background managing multiple brands, business divisions, or varied product portfolios simultaneously (comparable to restaurant groups, healthcare networks, or pharmaceutical portfolios) • Problem-Solving Mindset: Proven capability to handle ambiguity, resolve complex challenges, and excel in rapid, startup-style environments regardless of organization size • Pharmacy Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, 503B compounding, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and associated regulatory structures • Desired Qualifications • 503B Specific Experience: Hands-on experience working with or inside a 503B compounding pharmacy setting • Advanced Education: PhD or MBA highly preferred • Corporate Development: Background with M&A, strategic acquisitions, and corporate structure enhancement • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of peptide therapeutics, hormone replacement therapy, or telehealth operating models • Public Company Experience: Background taking a company from private to public, including investor relations, acquisition understanding, and IPO navigation Benefits: • Base Salary: $160k - $280k (Depending on experience and location) • Relocation Assistance: Provided for qualified candidates • Comprehensive Medical Coverage (Health, Vision, Dental) • 401(k) Retirement Plan through Insperity • Life Insurance • Paid Time Off: Unpaid PTO policy with flexible structure • Work Environment: Remote with travel to company sites; future corporate headquarters anticipated in USA • Variable Compensation: Equity opportunities and bonus structure (details to be discussed)
