This is a remote position. Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) / Head of Growth Reports To: Founder / CEO Location: Remote (Worldwide; European timezone preferred) Type: Full-time or Fractional Comp. Range: Flexible for the right candidate About Us We are a bootstrapped, direct-response ecommerce brand in the natural health space. We sell premium physical products through high-volume short-form video advertising. The company has experienced explosive growth, scaling rapidly through relentless creative production, product iteration, and proprietary engineering-backed tooling. We run significant daily ad spend across Meta and YouTube, produce massive creative volume monthly, and serve customers across 10+ countries. We have a 40-person marketing department with strong tactical execution, but we lack a strategic marketing leader who has scaled brands at 8–9 figure levels. The Role You will be the strategic leader of the entire marketing organization. This is not a consultant role — you own the marketing vision, roadmap, and execution strategy end to end. You will lead a team of 40+ across creative strategy, video production, media buying, and channel expansion. A Creative Project Manager currently handles day-to-day operations and team coordination. Your role is to set strategic direction, make hiring decisions, drive channel diversification, and ensure the marketing machine scales profitably. What You Will Own - Overall marketing strategy and roadmap to achieve massive scale. - Channel diversification beyond current primary channels into new paid, organic, and offline channels (TV, direct mail, podcasts, affiliates, influencers). - Creative strategy at the portfolio level: which angles, formats, and concepts win across channels and markets. - International expansion strategy across new language markets. - Team development: identifying leadership gaps, promoting talent, building a marketing org that operates independently. - Marketing P&L ownership: scaling spend while maintaining contribution margin targets. You Are the Right Fit If - You have personally scaled a DTC or ecommerce brand from $10M to $50M+ (or $50M to $100M+) as CMO, VP Marketing, or equivalent. - You deeply understand direct-response economics: ROAS, contribution margin, creative testing velocity, and scale constraints. - You have managed multi-channel paid media at significant daily spend and know how to diversify without diluting performance. - You have led teams of 20+ marketers and built the systems and accountability structures that make them run. - You are AI-forward and see how AI is transforming creative production and marketing operations. - You are a doer, not a theorist — you move fast, make decisions with incomplete data, and iterate relentlessly. Nice to Have - Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or publishing verticals. - Track record marketing to older demographics (50+). - Experience taking a brand into retail, TV, or international markets. 90-Day Success Complete audit of current marketing operations, creative system, and channel performance. Deliver a 12-month strategic roadmap with channel-specific plans. Identify and begin executing on the top 2–3 highest-leverage growth opportunities. Establish yourself as the marketing leader the team trusts and follows.
