Description Additional Job Information 40 Hours per Week Monday - Friday Days, Flexible Schedule Hybrid remote position, will be required to attend onsite meetings Prefer candidate with experience abstracting data Benefits begin on first day of employment Overview Job Summary : Accountable for the overall management of the cardiolovascular data registries for the cardiac services lines. Management includes accurately, timely and complete abstraction strictly aligned with the published data specifications for the specific registry. Responsible to submit data as required to meet organization deadlines. Accountable for data analysis and effective communication of results to the cardiac service line. Accountable for identification of opportunities for improvement and to facilitate development, implementation, monitoring and communicating results of improvement activities. Provides education and training to the clinical team to ensure understanding of the purpose, content and outcomes provided by the data registries. Job Responsibilities : Perform accurate, timely and complete cardiovascular data abstraction according to current data specifications published by the Society of Thoracic Surgery, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Associations Get With the Guidelines and / or other clinically recognized professional organizations. Analyze data obtained from registry input and effectively communicate results to the Cardiac Service Line. Identify opportunities for improvement related to data results, facilitate development and implementation of improvement plans, monitor, and communicate results. Provide education and training in data registries to ensure the clinical team is knowledgeable regarding the purpose, content, and outcomes generated by the data registries.
