Job Summary Kensington is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to focus on the State Local and Education (SLED) channel.  In this role, you will enhance Kensington’s market position and drive sales growth by working with both existing and new customers.  Your focus will be on the Eastern United States, supporting long-term organizational strategic goals, building key customer relationships with end users as well as channel partners, while identifying and securing key business opportunities. Responsibilities    - Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth across State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts within the territory, including product positioning and deep engagement with key decision-makers across state agencies, municipalities, and education institutions. - Identify, qualify, and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities across the SLED market to meet and exceed company growth objectives. - Leverage Salesforce to effectively track, manage, and close pipeline opportunities, ensuring data accuracy and visibility. - Represent Kensington at SLED-focused tradeshows, conferences, and events. - Collaborate closely with reseller and channel partners to identify and pursue new SLED opportunities across state, local, and education segments. - Host meetings with strategic SLED focused resellers as the Kensington Subject Matter Expert for SLED providing training and awareness of Kensington products. - Provide market feedback and recommend new product enhancements or solutions based on evolving SLED customer requirements. - Partner cross-functionally with internal Kensington teams to drive alignment and product forecast to achieve sales targets. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years in sales or marketing within the SLED channel. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or any related field is preferred. - Up to 40% domestic travel. - Strong networking, persuasion, and prospecting skills. - Excellent public speaking, research, and writing abilities. - Proven closing skills and motivation for sales. - Proficient in sales planning, identifying customer needs and challenges, and territory management. - In-depth market knowledge and ability to meet sales goals. - High level of proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.   Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 plus incentive #LI-Remote   About Us: You know our brands.
