We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst (Data Governance) to join our dynamic Big Data team. As a Business Analyst (Data Governance), you will play a critical role in ensuring Big Data profiling and segmentation, as well as integrity, quality and variety of our data assets. Responsibilities: • Gather, analyse and validate business requirements, prepare User Stories, BRD, FSD, Project Charters, etc. • Evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources • Develop analytical data sets in Big Data environments which can be used for analytics and data science • Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining • Design and document data flows and data mappings • Manage company’s datasets in Big Data environments • Aggregate and transform data for efficient data processing • Address user questions and issues related to the data management platform • Define and document data governance policies, processes, and standards • Monitor data quality and compliance with data governance policies • Develop and maintain data catalogue and metadata management practices Requirements: • 2+ years as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer or relevant experience • Strong business value orientation • The ability to write clear requirements and specifications • Experience in database technologies with solid understanding and hands-on skills with SQL/Advance SQL/Hive/ETL. PySpark, Python knowledge would be a plus • Experience building large scale datasets in Hadoop, AWS, Azure or similar big data environments • Good to have understanding of structured, semi structured and unstructured datasets • Should have worked on end-to-end solution development • Need to have understanding of data pipeline building • Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and industry standards • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Detail-oriented and able to work independently and in a team • Previous Telecom experience and familiarity with BSS, OSS and Service Fulfilment functions would be a plus We offer: • A unique experience of working for the largest and most beloved mobile operator in Ukraine • Remote work with possibility to visit the office • A competitive salary • Annual bonus • Paid sick leave and vacation • Flexible working hours • Medical and life insurance • Great possibilities for professional development and career growth • Friendly & collaborative environment
