Job Summary
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a Telemetry unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. The RN will provide patient care within the NORTH CAROLINA DIVISION (51) unit. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, team-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Assess patient conditions and develop/implement nursing care plans.
• Utilize medical remote telemetry monitoring and Cerner Patient Observation (CPO).
• Prepare patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR, and OR.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently in Cerner EMR.
• Adhere to hospital and unit policies and guidelines.
• Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
Required Qualifications
• RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with medical telemetry.
Preferred Qualifications
• Leadership experience.
• Charge Nurse experience.
• BSN degree.
• CMSRN certification.
Skills & Competencies
• Clinical skills in Telemetry.
• Proficiency with medical equipment and Cerner EMR.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
