Comments you have? What is your impact on your role? - Effectively plan, distribute, and manage the deployment of operational support resources throughout the development lifecycle, across multiple development
- Manages downtime/fixes, incidents, and issues across the team
- Manages engineers and/or performance analysts in the local market team
- Tracks, reviews, and reports operational support costs throughout the development lifecycle
- Single point of contact for company/development groups or vendors requesting support to resolve issues
- Directs operational resources to resolve/prevent issues as Prevention includes ensuring adequate performance monitoring for critical applications
- Enforcement of manufacturing assurance practices
- Facilitates the use of technical expert skills to drive engineering designs/improvements
- Assists in quality assessments by supporting metric assessments for major changes
- Contributes to policy development and Procedures for manufacturing and service support functions
- Ensures adherence to the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) compliance process for handling incidents, problems, and changes.
Minimum Qualifications - 2+ years of technical experience in a mainframe environment.
- Experience designing and implementing mainframe and distributed
- More than 2 years of experience in mainframe infrastructure, hardware, and operating systems.
- More than two years of problem, change, and incident queue tracking, capability compliance enforcement, root cause analysis, and change quality
Preferred Qualifications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in an operational or support role
