JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES DOCUMENTATION · Maintains departmental and clinical directories. · Provides daily up-dates of departmental staff's coverage. CALENDAR MANAGEMENT · Maintains faculty/staff requests for time off and clinic coverage via myHR and Outlook service calendars for vacation, sick leave, and absences. · Responsible for departmental timekeeping via Kronos. · Responsible for scheduling of conference rooms within the department. DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS · Performs daily mail runs (1): pick-up & distribute mail to appropriate mail slots which requires walking to various departmental sections as well as other areas within the institution. Requires lifting mail packages weighing 5 to 10 pounds. · Responsible for lab coat maintenance. · Responsible for projects as assigned by Supervisor. · Responsible for attending and successfully completing educational courses as assigned by Supervisor. · Responsible for maintaining office supplies for the department. · Other duties as assigned. FINANCE · Processes and tracks departmental purchase requisitions and maintains departmental/divisional supply inventory. · Reconciles and tracks faculty PRS allotments Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Required: Four years of administrative/secretarial experience. With preferred degree, no experience required. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
