Responsibilities
- Hunt relentlessly: Prospect into product manufacturers and suppliers to generate qualified opportunities
- Own the full cycle: From first call to signed contract, you own the deal
- Build relationships: Develop trusted advisor relationships with engineering, cybersecurity, and compliance leaders
- Navigate complexity: Manage 2-6 month sales cycles with technical buyers and compliance-driven purchase processes
- Collaborate: Work closely with our technical team to scope projects and deliver winning proposals
- Report and forecast: Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM
Skills
- 1-2 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated ability to hunt and close new business
- Track record of hitting or exceeding quota
- Comfort navigating technical sales conversations
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
- Based in or willing to relocate to Detroit metro area
- Willingness to hit the road frequently to be in front of customers
- Exposure to automotive industry (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, mobility)
- Exposure to other ground vehicle industries
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, or engineering services sales
- Experience with complex, consultative sales cycles
