We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Business Development Representative - Digital Sales to join our dynamic sales team on a 100% remote basis. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs. About DHL Global Forwarding DGF is a global leader in air and ocean freight services, providing end-to-end logistics solutions for our customers. With a workforce of around 30,000 employees, we ensure the seamless transportation of shipments from factory to shop floor, including specialized transport-related services. Our business model is asset-light, based on the brokerage of transport services between customers and freight carriers. We consolidate shipments to achieve higher volumes, purchase cargo space at better conditions, and optimize network utilization. Key Responsibilities Proactive Business Development: Hunt and prospect for new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in the Freight Forwarding industry and strong communication skills to engage potential clients and build relationships. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and providing customized solutions to meet their requirements. Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to identify new business prospects and stay ahead of the competition. Sales Closure: Effectively present value propositions, negotiate terms, and secure contracts to close sales and meet or exceed revenue growth targets. CRM Management: Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports for effective pipeline management. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience within the Freight Forwarding/International Supply Chain industry, with a track record of hunting and prospecting for new business. Sales Closure Skills: Ability to successfully close sales and meet or exceed revenue growth targets. CRM and MS Office Skills: Solid experience using CRM systems and MS Office products. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers and successfully close deals. Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
