Role Description This role involves finding, building, and nurturing strategic corporate partnerships that align with our mission to save the world's oceans. • Drive Sales and Impact: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow the number and size of business partnerships focusing on major program offerings. • Develop Strategic Long Term Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders. • Grow and manage a significant portfolio of business partnerships to ensure financial goals are met. • Lead Generation and Client Engagement: Actively establish and secure business relationships, meetings, and close deals efficiently. • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of strategies and client alignment. • Strategize for Success: Develop comprehensive account plans that include setting and meeting sales targets. • Negotiate Effectively: Manage contract negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Qualifications • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in sales, key account management, business development, or fundraising roles. • Must have corporate / B2B sales experience in the sustainability and/or environmental industry. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Sustainability, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred. • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Ability to think strategically and develop actionable plans that drive growth. • Results-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. • A deep commitment to ocean conservation and a desire to contribute to a mission-driven organization. Requirements • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or fundraising targets. • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop actionable plans. • Self-motivated and results-oriented. • Technical proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Passion for ocean conservation.
