The Opportunity Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Director to join our Hyatt Sales Force Meeting and Events team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader HSF teams as well as hotel colleagues, where you'll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the below: • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth across professional, collegiate, and youth sports markets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including leagues, teams, housing partners, governing bodies, and agencies. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the global sports travel sector. • Direct hotel and resort sourcing for major sports partners across regular and postseason play, marquee events, tournaments, and administrative meetings. • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders-sales, marketing, operations, and finance-to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategies. • Provide strategic guidance and best practices to colleagues and customers; share insights on training, tools, and company initiatives. • Support hotels and customers in contract negotiations, lead distribution, and property recommendations. • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence to refine sales strategies. • Manage sales pipeline, forecast performance, and provide reporting and analysis to senior leadership. • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows. • Ensure an exceptional customer experience through proactive communication, issue resolution, and collaboration with hotel teams.
