Fantasy Sports Startup Bar Rep (Part-Time, Flexible)
About Us: At OverBoard Sports, we're transforming how fans experience sports through our unique fantasy sports platform that prioritizes engagement and social connection. Founded by four college friends who saw a better way to enjoy watching games together, we are creating a platform that keeps the excitement alive throughout the entire game—not just until your first bet loses. Our MVP is already live in the App Store with 1,200+ downloads and 11,000+ game entries created. We’ve seen amazing growth by hitting the ground and meeting sports fans where they are — at the bar. Now we’re expanding our Bar Rep Program to build stronger connections with local bars and bring even more fans into the Overboard community. About the Role: We’re looking for outgoing, social, and reliable Bar Reps to represent Overboard Sports at local bars. You’ll hand out flyers, chat with patrons, and build relationships with bar staff/owners to keep our app top of mind. This role is for someone looking to help us grow our user base while building our brand in a fun and authentic way. What You’ll Do: • Visit 3–5 assigned bars each week (total of ~4–6 hours/week). • Hand out flyers and encourage patrons to download the Overboard Sports app using your unique QR code. • Develop positive relationships with bartenders and managers so our flyers stay visible and staff mention the app. • Share weekly updates on your activity and signups. What We Offer: • $15/hour base pay for scheduled bar visits. • $7 bonus per verified app signup through your unique link/QR code. • Flexible, fun part-time schedule (~4–6 hours/week, typically 2 days). • Opportunity to work with an early-stage sports startup and grow with the company. • A chance to turn nightlife into extra cash while meeting new people. What We are Looking For: • Someone who is outgoing, approachable, and comfortable talking to people in social settings. • Reliability and good organizational skills • Someone who is connected to local nightlife or excited to be part of it. • A sports enthusiast who understands the vision of what we're creating Compensation Example: Work 5 hours per week, 20 hours per month: $300 base pay. Get 50 signups in a month: +$350 in bonuses. Total earnings = $650/month for just a few hours of fun, social work.
