Key Responsibilities Provide professional services to patients via our secure telemedicine platform, using your expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. Evaluate each patient's relevant medical data, medical history, and treatment concerns, and use a secure portal to communicate with each patient to establish the veterinarian-client-patient relationship. Use your professional medical judgment to determine in each instance whether it is medically appropriate to issue a prescription for a patient. Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, consistent with all established laws and regulations governing patient healthcare records. Adhere to accepted standards of practice, including obtaining informed consent and using telemedicine services in a responsible and ethical manner. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate work experience as a licensed veterinarian. A valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple language. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Excellent grammar and writing skills, with the ability to create clear and concise patient-focused communications. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
