Key Responsibilities As a Remote Customer Care Professional, your primary responsibilities will include: Receiving and responding to in-bound calls from customers who want to open a claim, listening attentively to their concerns, and working collaboratively to find a resolution. Providing proactive recommendations to help customers avoid future issues, leveraging your expertise and knowledge of our products and services. Utilizing technology to multi-task and efficiently manage calls, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Communicating effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and resolution of their issues. Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide feedback to improve our products and services. Work Schedule and Requirements We are seeking candidates who are available to work a 40-hour week schedule, with shifts that may include: Monday-Friday: 12p-9pm EST. Saturday and Sunday: 10am-6:30pm. Shifts may change to meet business needs, so it's essential that you have open overall availability. We offer shift differentials for night and weekend schedules worked. Training and Development When you join our team, you'll receive comprehensive training that includes: A combination of virtual classroom and on-the-job training, typically lasting 6 weeks. Classroom training hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm EST, with a lunch break. Ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure your success and growth in the role. Why Join Assurant?
