About the Role: High School Math Tutor We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic High School Math Tutor to provide personalized homework preparation and academic support to students in Chattanooga, Ooltewah, Harrison, and Hixson. As a key member of our tutoring team, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require guidance in various math subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. Your expertise and patience will help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve academic success. Key Responsibilities: Provide engaging and effective math tutoring sessions that cater to individual students' needs and learning styles Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that align with students' academic goals and objectives Submit comprehensive session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session Efficiently manage tutoring hours and balance student assignments to ensure optimal support and guidance Respond to existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner Collaborate with our office team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of student enrollments and hour packages Essential Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a focus on math tutoring or teaching Proven track record of successfully tutoring or teaching high school math students Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees in education or a related field are highly valued Experience with basic database management and data entry Excellent administrative skills, including strong typing, PC, and recording abilities Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone Ability to prepare engaging lesson plans and adapt to different learning styles and student needs Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree in education, math, or a related field Specialized training or certification in math education or tutoring Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our tutors.
